Product Design and Development Professional

At Luker Chocolate, we are looking for a Senior Product Design & Development Professional to join our Innovation, Research & Development team.\nThis role will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of new products with a technical, research-driven, creative, and innovative approach, applying the companys product development methodologies and agile tools such as Scrum.\nThe position will participate in product development and prototyping projects for Colombia, Latin America, and strategic markets, working closely with different internal areas and external stakeholders to promote innovation, continuous improvement, and value creation for the business.\nKey responsibilities\nManage new product development projects.\nSupport product-related requirements from different areas of the company.\nPromote innovation initiatives focused on business improvement and value generation.\nApply the companys product development methodology.\nPlan and coordinate laboratory and pilot plant trials.\nDevelop new product prototypes and evaluate their sensory, physicochemical, and functional performance.\nAnalyze prototype performance results and define next steps in the product development process.\nCoordinate prototype delivery to internal or external customers for evaluation and approval.\nPlan, coordinate, and support industrial trials to validate process conditions for new products.\nSupport product start-up and verification stages during industrialization.\nDevelop and update technical sheets, manufacturing routes, and formulas.\nEvaluate raw material suppliers from a technical perspective.\nSupport product profile adjustments and formulation changes.\nTrain Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams on newly developed products.\nConduct technological surveillance, state-of-the-art reviews, trend analysis, and intellectual property activities.\nBuild relationships with suppliers, universities, laboratories, and external entities to promote knowledge and technology transfer.\nProfile we are looking for\nProfessional degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or Chemistry.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in product development, preferably in the food industry.\nExperience in formulation, prototyping, laboratory trials, pilot plant testing, industrial trials, validation, or product industrialization IN FOOD INDUSTRY.\nKnowledge of food science, product development methodologies, and technical documentation.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, Marketing, or Commercial teams.\nAbility to work with internal and external customers, suppliers, universities, laboratories, and technical partners.\nAgile mindset and experience or interest in methodologies such as Scrum.\nEnglish level desirable.\nAvailability to work on-site in Bogotá.\nKey competencies\nGrowth mindset.\nAgility and adaptability.\nInnovation and curiosity.\nCustomer focus.\nPractical problem solving.\nCollaboration and knowledge sharing.\nAbility to challenge the status quo.\nBusiness understanding.\nStrong technical thinking.\nResults orientation.\nWorking conditions\nLocation: Bogotá, Colombia Calle 13.\nSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.\nNo shifts.\nDirect contract with the company.-Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Universidad / Carrera Profesional
