Position: Medical Records LEGAL\nLocation: On-site in Colombia Medellín, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga; Mexico Merida; Argentina Córdoba\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nExperience Level: 1-2\nSchedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. CST\nLanguage Requirement: Advanced English C1 (bilingual English/Spanish required)\nEducation Requirement: Bachelors Degree\nRole Overview\nThe Medical Records plays a critical role in supporting personal injury cases by managing the request, follow-up, and organization of medical records and billing documentation. This position ensures timely and complete documentation for new cases, directly impacting case readiness and client outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication while coordinating closely with attorneys and legal staff.\nKey Responsibilities\nRequest medical records and billing statements from hospitals, emergency rooms, imaging centers, and other relevant providers.\nManage follow-ups with third-party providers such as PIOX and Sharecare.\nPrepare and send HIPAA-compliant requests, including cover letters and authorization forms.\nTrack the status of outstanding requests and ensure timely receipt of records.\nCommunicate with local providers, including chiropractors and physical therapy offices, regarding patient records.\nEnter and manage case information in the Prevail case management system.\nCoordinate closely with attorneys, claims managers, and legal assistants to ensure case readiness.\nRequirements\nMust:\n12 years of experience in a similar role involving medical records.\nFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.\nExperience with Prevail or other legal case management systems (Preferred).\nStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.\nProfessional communication skills, both written and verbal.\nBilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is mandatory.-Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Bachillerato / Educación Media
