Senior Golang Developer

Remote Colombia Medellín We're looking for a Senior Golang Developer to help design and evolve backend services that power scalable, distributed systems. In this role, you'll build and improve production-grade applications, contribute to architecture decisions, and work closely with other engineers to deliver reliable APIs and backend solutions with a focus on performance, stability, and maintainability

Required for this role

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience building and maintaining production applications using Go (Golang).
• Experience working with MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and system scalability.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis for backend data management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed teams through clear communication and accountability.

Your responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build APIs and integrations to support new features and ongoing product initiatives.
• Improve the performance, stability, and scalability of existing backend services.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and deliver reliable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve development workflows through automation and process optimization.
