Discover the Role

The MDM Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across TMF Group systems and processes. This role supports the organization's Master Data Management (MDM) framework by ensuring customer, supplier, worker, and other master data records are created, maintained, and governed according to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.

The MDM Specialist works closely with internal stakeholders to review requests, resolve data issues, ensure compliance with master data governance requirements, and contribute to continuous process improvements that support operational efficiency and data quality.



Key Responsibilities

Master Data Management

  • Maintain customer, supplier, worker, and other master data within designated systems and tools.
  • Review and validate master data requests, approvals, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
  • Create, update, modify, and deactivate master data records in accordance with business requirements and governance policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of master data requests while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).

Data Quality & Compliance

  • Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and issue resolution activities to maintain data integrity and consistency.
  • Monitor assigned workload and proactively identify, communicate, and escalate service, quality, or process risks.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation, records, and process evidence.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, controls, and master data governance standards.

Stakeholder Management & Support

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding request status, required inputs, and resolution of master data issues.
  • Collaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to ensure master data requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Deliver role-specific training and knowledge-sharing sessions to system users, promoting adherence to master data standards, governance requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members when required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of enhancements within MDM activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and update process documentation, work instructions, and knowledge articles.
  • Contribute to the standardization and optimization of master data processes across functions and regions.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving data quality, efficiency, controls, and user experience.


Key Requirements

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Good understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles, data governance, and data quality concepts.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems and data management processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve data-related issues while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Master Data Management, Shared Services, Data Governance, Operations, or a similar administrative function is preferred.

Language Skills

  • Very good written and spoken English.
