Job title: Benefits Associate Reconciliation
· About the role\nThe Benefits Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our reconciliation processes. This position involves meticulous reconciliation work, identifying and resolving discrepancies within the PRISM system and Carrier Websites. If any issues arise, the Benefits Associate will promptly escalate them to maintain timely and accurate customer payments and deductions.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nBenefit Invoice Reconciliation:\nConduct a thorough reconciliation or audit of benefit invoices, comparing and identifying inconsistencies between collected amounts and actual payments.\nDiscrepancy Resolution:\nResolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation within PRISM, Tabulera, and Carrier websites. Ensure accurate financial records.\nSmartsheet Maintenance:\nUpdate Smartsheet with real-time annual balance sheet information for review by the Benefits Control Team.\nAssist in Position Replacement:\nSupport Benefits Assistant and Associate roles when needed to ensure continuity.\nClient Space Management:\nHandle Client Space cases and tasks, ensuring proper routing and resolution.\nContact Points of Contact:\nReach out to POCs or Benefits Manager to resolve questions related to benefit processes.\nManager Communication:\nCommunicate with Manager, Senior Benefits Specialist, and Supervisor when necessary to resolve discrepancies.\nClient Information Validation:\nGenerate reports from PRISM and Tabulera to validate and maintain accurate client data.\nTracking Format Maintenance:\nMaintain and update tracking formats in Smartsheet.\nGoal Compliance:\nEnsure compliance with KPIs and organizational goals.\nPerform any additional procedures required for job fulfillment.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office\nIntermediate accounting knowledge\nData analysis skills\nResearch and information gathering ability\nTime management and self-management\nIntermediate English (85% reading, writing, conversational)\nEducation and Experience\nAcademic Qualifications:\nTechnical degree in Human Sciences, Administrative, and/or Accounting fields\nExperience:\nAt least 1 year in administrative, organizational, accounting assistance, or academic research.
