We focus on long-term placements, performance accountability, and operational excellence.\nFor this role, you will work directly with our client, a U.S.-based performance marketing agency located in Central Time that specializes in lead generation across multiple insurance verticals. The company operates with a strong focus on data, campaign optimization, buyer performance, and revenue growth.
· Role Summary\nThe Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with direct lead buyers (advertisers) and publishers across multiple insurance verticals. This role ensures buyers receive high-quality, compliant, and profitable traffic while maintaining alignment between buyer requirements and affiliate supply. The Account Manager acts as the primary point of contact for buyer performance, delivery, and optimization.
· Key Responsibilities\nBuyer Relationship Management:\nServe as the primary contact for assigned direct buyers/advertisers and publishers\nBuild strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and media teams\nConduct regular performance reviews and business check-ins\nIdentify growth opportunities within existing buyer and publisher accounts\nCampaign & Performance Management\nMonitor lead volume, quality, CPL/CPA, and conversion metrics\nEnsure campaigns meet buyer KPIs and margin targets\nOptimize delivery based on buyer feedback and performance data\nCoordinate with internal traffic/ops teams to scale or adjust supply\nOnboarding & Launch\nManage onboarding of new direct buyers from contract to launch\nGather and document campaign requirements, targeting, and compliance specs\nConfigure posting instructions, tracking, and acceptance criteria\nTest lead flow and ensure accurate routing and reporting before go-live\nQuality & Compliance Oversight\nMonitor lead quality and buyer acceptance rates\nInvestigate discrepancies, rejections, or performance issues\nCoordinate returns, credits, or make-goods as needed\nEnsure buyer requirements are consistently enforced across affiliates\nReporting & Forecasting\nDeliver weekly/monthly performance reports to buyers and leadership\nTrack revenue, margin, and pacing against targets\nForecast volume and scaling opportunities\nMaintain CRM/account documentation and notes\nCross-Functional Coordination\nAlign with other team members on buyer needs and feedback\nWork with Tech/Operations on integrations and tracking accuracy\nPartner with Finance on billing accuracy and reconciliation\nSupport Sales with upsell and expansion opportunities
· Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nBuyer retention and satisfaction\nRevenue and margin growth from assigned accounts\nLead acceptance rate / quality score\nCampaign launch speed and accuracy\nDiscrepancy resolution time\nVolume delivery vs forecast
· Qualifications\nRequired:\n2+ years in affiliate marketing, lead generation, or digital advertising account management\nExperience managing advertiser/buyer relationships\nStrong analytical and performance optimization skills\nUnderstanding of CPL/CPA/CPC campaigns and lead funnels\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills\nEnglish proficiency C1+ (Professional Level) Required. Must be able to confidently communicate with U.S.-based buyers in meetings, reporting discussions, and performance reviews.
· Preferred:\nExperience with lead-gen verticals (home services, insurance, legal, finance, etc.)\nFamiliarity with tracking platforms, CRMs, or ping/post systems\nData analysis skills (Excel, dashboards, BI tools)\nExperience working with affiliates and direct advertisers simultaneously\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and relationship-focused.
