Middle AI-first Engineer

Hybrid, Remote Colombia Medellín We are looking for an experienced Agentic Engineer to help build and scale next-generation AI-driven software development capabilities. This is not a traditional software engineering role. You will orchestrate AI systems to deliver production-grade software through AI-first, specification-driven development, where most code is generated by AI agents. You’ll work within cross-functional product teams, collaborating globally in a fast-paced and highly experimental environment

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AI-orchestrated software development workflows
• Translate technical specifications into deployable systems using AI agents
• Improve internal agentic frameworks, automation pipelines, and deployment workflows
• Create precise, testable specifications and verification strategies
• Ensure AI-generated outputs meet architectural, security, and quality standards
• Contribute to automation across development, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience shipping production software using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
• Experience with:
  • Agent-based systems
  • Spec-driven development
  • AI tooling primitives (agents, hooks, skills, MCP/CLI connectors)
  • CI/CD and automated software pipelines
• Strong system design and software architecture knowledge
• Ability to transform ambiguous problems into clear technical specifications
