Senior AI-first Engineer

Hybrid, Remote Colombia Medellín We’re looking for Agentic Engineers to help build and scale the next generation of AI-driven software development. This role is fundamentally different from traditional software engineering. Instead of manually writing most of the code, you’ll orchestrate AI systems that generate, validate, test, and deploy production-ready software. The focus is on AI-first, specification-driven engineering, where AI handles the majority of implementation work. You’ll work closely with global product engineering teams in highly collaborative, fast-moving environments

Responsibilities

• Design and manage workflows where AI systems generate production-grade software
• Translate technical specifications into deployable systems through AI agents
• Improve and evolve internal agentic development frameworks and automation pipelines
• Enable end-to-end automation across development, testing, and deployment
• Validate AI-generated outputs through automated pipelines and system checks
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and product pods globally
• Ensure architecture integrity, deployment reliability, and security best practices

Technical Background

• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
• Familiarity with:
  • Agent-based systems
  • Specification-driven development
  • Automated software pipelines
  • CI/CD and cloud deployments
• Understanding of backend systems and architecture concepts
