AI Manager

Hybrid Colombia Medellín We are seeking a highly experienced Data & AI Manager to lead the development and deployment of innovative AI-driven solutions across the organization. This role will lead cross-functional AI initiatives focused on Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning while managing technical teams and aligning AI strategy with business objectives

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI professionals developing AI-enabled products and solutions
• Drive the AI product roadmap aligned with overall technology and business strategy
• Oversee the development, deployment, and optimization of AI/ML models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources in an Agile environment
• Stay current on AI trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and research institutions
• Ensure all AI solutions meet legal, ethical, security, and quality standards

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in AI development, including:
  • Generative AI
  • Machine Learning
  • Deep Learning
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and cross-functional projects
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Strong understanding of AI model deployment and lifecycle management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven Agile project management experience in fast-paced environments
