Role Summary:

As a key member of the Design and Packaging Department, you will drive business growth by developing innovative, consumer-preferred packaging solutions that support Colgate-Palmolive’s global strategies. You will lead the end-to-end development of new packaging concepts, from initial design and material selection to flawless technical execution within the Supply Chain. This cross-functional role collaborates with Marketing, Product Development, and Manufacturing to identify new trends and implement sustainability roadmaps. By influencing packaging superiority and material innovation, you will ensure every consumer touchpoint meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative packaging systems, focusing on consumer needs and material performance to drive incremental portfolio growth.

• Execute the strategic activity grid with 100% on-time delivery and technical accuracy, ensuring all packaging specifications align with marketing requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

• Drive perceivable product superiority by identifying and implementing new packaging trends, materials, and technologies that enhance sensory and aesthetic consumer experiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing, Consumer Insights, and external vendors, to optimize packaging ideas for launch readiness and global implementation.

• Maximize value and efficiency by leading "Funding the Growth" (FTG) saving projects to improve product margins and reach Global Supply Chain objectives.

• Support sustainability initiatives by developing environmentally friendly packaging projects and ensuring the successful implementation of the regional sustainability roadmap.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design Engineering, or Material Science.

• 3+ years of experience in consumer goods (CPG) or the pharmaceutical industry.

• 3+ years of specialized experience in Packaging Development or related roles.

• Advanced English proficiency (conversational and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, specifically coordinating complex projects across Marketing and Supply Chain.

• Proven expertise in package testing and the development of technical packaging specifications.

• Deep understanding of diverse packaging materials, such as corrugates, films/webs, resins, and dispensing systems.
