The main challenge of the role of the eCom Activation Associate is to lead the business for their categories with the support of the Vice President, Sales in delivering the Sales & Advertising target objectives for Amazon. The role will be pivotal in the management and day-to-day aspects of Amazon.com's content, advertising, and digital activation strategy. This candidate can only be successful if they are immersed in learning all operational aspects of the industry from both an analytical and technical standpoint.

Main Purposes Of The Job

  • Report to Vice President of Sales, with the goal of executing and launch Amazon Advertising Tactics
  • Lead the implementation and execution of the Amazon Advertising roadmap and deliver sales goals for their categories in partnership with the Sales counterpart
  • Daily monitoring of product detail pages for constant improvement to maintain a healthy content score, and optimized SEO
  • Partner with Sales Analyst to coordinate all promotional activity with site merchandising plans and advertising strategies
  • Develop and manage targeted advertising campaigns using tools like Amazon Sponsored Product, Brand, and Display – as well as understand the KPI drivers behind a successful campaign
  • Understanding and differentiating between upper and lower funnel media strategies that include, but are not limited to, Sponsored Brand Campaigns, Video Ads, Display Ads, Sponsored Products, and Targeting/Retargeting Strategies
  • Partner with the Sales Analyst to develop and distribute real-time (daily, weekly, monthly) reports that share the business outlook to senior management in the company
  • Partner with Creative and Marketing Teams on the implementation of product launches, landing pages, on-site campaigns, homepage updates, etc.
  • Keep current about site updates, product management, and new web features via research, being in relevant eCom forums and groups. Ownership of our internal documentation and processes related to the aforementioned topics.
  • Ensure all product details are up to date and approved by the marketing team
  • Coordinate and administer continual content tests and learn plans to identify and roll out best in class content improvement

Main Skills Required

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business degrees are preferred)
  • Advanced skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Applications
  • Advanced data analytics skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) are preferred
  • Business level masterery of English language
  • Initiative & follow-through
  • Solid analytical skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, strong organization skills, and deadline-driven
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner Ability to manage and work with cross-functional teams
