Resumen

  • Leadership of all department activities within the hotel, working in collaboration with Housekeeping, F&B, and other revenue generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the sales department.
  • Implementation of the hotel's sales strategy, in order to reach and go beyond the expected figures in Rooms, A&B, and other departments.
  • Ensure that sales activities are aligned with the hotel's corporate marketing strategy.

  • Monitor and evaluate trends in local, national and international markets, as well as competitive sales initiatives, in order to ensure that the hotel's strategies continue to be competitive and cutting-edge.

  • Create strategies for allocating prices, inventory, and sales resources.
  • Actively participates in sales meetings, developing and adjusting sales accounts and pricing strategies.
  • Assist and coordinate sales activities, as well as make sure to inform the entire hotel.
  • Maintains an updated database of group leaders, national and international conferences, among others in order to ensure the implementation of appropriate activities for the development of the department.
  • Ensures that sales proposals, digital tools and other sales communications are in line with the hotel's brand standards and are up to date in terms of information.
  • Be attentive to commercial, political and/or social situations that may affect the financial performance of the hotel.

Calificaciones

  • Professional in Hospitality and Tourism, Hotel Administration, Marketing and Advertising or its equivalent of three years of experience in the area.
  • English as second language
  • Knowledge of hotel systems
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in chain hotels.
  • Skills:
  • Leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, assertive communication, persuasion, teamwork.
