Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Application Developer to join our team. As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will write clean, efficient, and well-structured code using a range of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, CodeIgniter, and Bootstrap. Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing scalable and efficient solutions for our projects. In this role, you will guide and mentor team members, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best development practices. You will collaborate with the development team in planning and designing technical solutions, actively participating in troubleshooting, and offering effective solutions. Your strong coding skills will be used in performing unit testing and ensuring code quality
Principal Duties

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code using web technologies such as HTML, CSS,
• JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, CodeIgniter, Bootstrap.
• Design scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Guide team members, provide technical guidance, review code, and ensure adherence to best development practices.
• Generate documentation for the developed products.
• Debug errors, perform performance improvements, add new features, and ensure system stability and security.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools and determine how they can be

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality applications.
• Collaborate with the development team in planning and designing technical solutions.

• Perform unit testing and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with testing and deployment teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Research and utilize best practices and current technologies in Java development.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements.

Basic Requirements

• Bilingual, high level of proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in the health and/or travel insurance industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to discuss problems, needs, and propose solutions with stakeholders.
• Proactively propose creative solutions to presented problems.
• Agility in problem-solving and solution development.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Required Knowledge.

• Solid experience in PHP.
• Experience in developing interactive and responsive user interfaces using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of frameworks like Angular, CodeIgniter, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Postgres database.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
• Deep understanding of web application architecture.
• Desirable knowledge of web security and good secure development practices.
• Knowledge and experience in agile development.
• Desirable proficiency in JIRA.

Education And Experience

• Professional degree related to areas such as systems, computer science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in similar roles.
